My Hobbies + Interests!

Coding

After attending a coding class at my local library when I was 13, I fell in love with coding. I have attended numerous hackathons since then, and it still is one of my favorite weekend activities. Building a program is really fun and rewarding (although it can be frustrating at times). Check out Github for my past projects!

Basketball

I grew up watching basketball with my dad, but I didn't start playing until freshman year of high school. I was on the JV basketball team at my school for two years, and I really loved playing with my teammates! Although I was unable to play this year, I am the team manager and I track stats during games!

Travel + Photography

I absolutely love travelling! My family loves national parks, so we often go on road trips to nearby states during breaks. When travelling, I take a lot of pictures! I am working on a page that features some of the pictures I took.

Baking

I love baked goods, so I try to make them whenever I have time! My personal favorites to make are chocolate chip cookies and carrot cake. I am also always trying out new (but usually easy because I'm still new to baking) recipes! I like modifying the recipes I tried out so they are perfect the next time I make them!

Board Games + Puzzles

Ever since I was little, I have always loved solving puzzles and playing board games. I remember my dad taking me to a place with all kinds of board games, and we would easily spend the whole day there. Recently, I have been playing cards during class at school, and it is a lot of fun! (We usually play Thirteen.)

Movies + Shows

I watch movies & shows almost every weekend. I like to analyze the cinematography of the movies and the meaning behind the plot. I am currently taking a Cinema and Media Studies class at school, and I was introduced to a lot of film language/techniques! My favorite genre of movies is probably mystery/suspense/thriller :)
